Dr. Jacob Son
Originally from New Mexico, Dr. Son earned his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology and Physiology from Purdue University, graduating with honors. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry, one of the nation’s oldest and most respected dental institutions. During dental school, he also participated in a dental service mission to Haiti, providing care to patients in underserved communities—an experience that shaped his commitment to service and clinical excellence.
Before relocating to Colorado, Dr. Son practiced in Wisconsin, where he completed advanced training in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants. He has completed more than 300 hours of implant-specific education and earned Fellowship status with both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and Implant Pathways.
He has also pursued advanced education at the prestigious Misch Implant Institute. His approach emphasizes precision, long-term outcomes, and thoughtful treatment planning.
Dr. Son remains deeply committed to continuing education through ongoing involvement with Spear Study Club, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the ICOI. In addition to private practice, he serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, helping train the next generation of dentists.
Outside the office, Dr. Son lives in Denver with his fiancée, Tiffany, and their two dogs, Sedona and Bear. He enjoys skiing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time outdoors in Colorado.
“My goal is to bring over a decade of experience and advanced training to deliver thoughtful, modern care grounded in trust and long-term outcomes.”
